নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের প্রতিকৃতিতে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করছেন লক্ষ্মীপুরের কমলনগর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের নবগঠিত কমিটির নেতারা। শনিবার রাজধানীর ধানমন্ডি ৩২ নম্বরে জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের প্রতিকৃতিতে তারা এ পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করেন। এ সময় জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি গোলাম ফারুক পিংকু, সাধারণ সম্পাদক অ্যাডভোকেট নুরউদ্দিন চৌধুরী নয়ন, কেন্দ্রীয় আওয়ামী লীগের যুব ও ক্রীড়া বিষয়ক উপ-কমিটির সদস্য আব্দুজ জাহের সাজু, কমলনগর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের নবগঠিত কমিটির সভাপতি মো. নিজাম উদ্দিন, সাধারণ সম্পাদক অ্যাডভোকেট একেএম নুরুল আমিন রাজু, উপজেলা পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান মেজবাহ উদ্দিন আহমেদ বাপ্পী, ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ওমর ফারুক সাগর, আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা মনিরুল হক মিয়া, মোশারেফ হোসেন বাঘা, মোহাম্মদ উল্যাহ ও ইউছুফ আলী মিয়া প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
উল্লেখ্য, গত ১২ মে কমলনগর উপজেলা আওয়ামী লীগের ত্রি-বার্ষিক সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এর পরদিন নতুন নেতৃত্ব নির্বাচনের জন্য কাউন্সিলরদের নিয়ে ভোটের আয়োজন করে কেন্দ্রীয় ও জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের নেতা। এতে সভাপতি পদে মো. নিজাম উদ্দিন ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক পদে অ্যাডভাকেট একেএম নুরুল আমিন রাজু বিপুল ভোটে নির্বাচিত হন।
